ANAGA, NOOKS THAT WIN THE LOVE

You don't know it yet, but you’re about to enter a fairytale landscape. Anaga forests gaze at the cities of Santa Cruz and La Laguna from a thick and dense green cloak. This unique ecosystem is a relic of the woods that covered much of the Mediterranean coast a few million years ago. Nature has willed to confine them to a few Atlantic islands nowadays, guardians and caretakers that revere them for what they are: prehistoric witnesses of the passage of ages and people by their foothills, springs and paths.

You’ll know their misty pathways and major botanical species, you’ll walk by their traditional paths and you’ll understand how people have been living in harmony with this magical natural environment for centuries.
