How can I book an activity?

It’s quite easy. You can book your activity through our website. You can also call us at +34 606342938,  or use the contact  form if you want to give us more details about your needs.

What if I don’t find what I’m looking for?

Just tell us  what you want to do and see and we’ll design a special experience adapted to your particular needs.

What does the activity price include?

All prices include the guiding service by official local guide and insurance. In those activities with transportation required, it will be included as well.
In the personalized activities, the price will include everything we agree, which also will be detailed in the proposed budget, as well as in the booking confirmation.

How can I confirm the booking?

Reservations will only be effective once you receive a confirmation email, where you can check the activity, date, time and number of participants.
In addition, for personalized activities, or those in which transportation is required, your booking will be confirmed once you make your reservation payment by transfer ES98 1491 00 0127 3000064293, specifying your name and the activity you want to book.

Are the activities suitable for children? 

Children are always welcome to Tenerife Like a Local. If you want a car ride taking time to stop and visit different places of interest, there won’t be any problem. If you prefer a walking tour or a hiking experience, you will have to asses your children’s endurance for walking (you’re the one who knows them the best). Our walking tours last about two hours and a half. Furthermore, you can always contact us  and we’ll suggest those activities that suits you.Los niños siempre son bienvenidos en . 

Are the activities suitable for people with reduced mobility or functional diversity?

Tenerife Like a Local team wants everyone to be able to enjoy our island, without exceptions. Our urban walking tours are completely accessible, and we can also book adapted vehicles.

 What do I need to bring?

Your identity card (ID or Passport) is a must.
For urban walking tours, the only thing you need is a pair of comfortable shoes. We usually take a break to talk over a coffee.
For hiking tours, due to safety reasons, comfortable and warm clothing and shoes suitable for mountain hiking are essential (not sandals or sneakers). Don’t forget to bring a cap or hat, sunscreen, water and some snacks. And please, everything into a small backpack, not into a hand bag.

What if I’m late?

We always ask you to be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the starting time in order to be punctual. We also give you another five minutes before starting the activity. After this time we’ll start. If you think you’re going to be late, please contact us by phone or whatsapp +34 606342938 and we’ll find a solution.

What if the weather is bad?

If it rains, you should bring an umbrella or a raincoat, as you wish. And if the weather is hot and there’s plenty of sun, you must wear a hat or cap and use sunscreen. We will cancel our guided tours only in case of public warning of adverse meteorological event by the competent authority.

What if I have to leave before the end?

Don’t worry, just let us know that you have to leave earlier to avoid we thinking that you got lost or anything else happened to you, please.
